What a fun and busy week we had, celebrating lag b'omer and preparing for graduation! We also have been making special cards and gifts for our mothers for Mother's Day. We can't wait to give our moms their gifts and sing them our special song!
Designing our own and unique Mother's Day card
Reviewing number recognition skills by playing bingo
punching out hearts for our card
Gluing jewels to our card
Some of us folded our cards
sharing and taking turns
drawing Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai and his son Rabbi Elazar puppets
Pouring old oatmeal in our sensory bin
After listening to the story of Rabbi Akiva, we recalled and drew a scene from the story. Some of us decided to draw the entire story!
Lacing beads for our Mother's Day gift
Here is a sample from our Rabbi Akiva drawings. The real drawing will go in our end of the year portfolio.
lacing beads for our end of the year gift to dad
We went outside and made a bonfire out of sticks and mulch. We sang songs about ahavas yisroel and danced around the fire.
Then we enjoyed roasting marshmallows by the fire.
lag b'omer sameach!
We danced with our friends from the other Pre-k in the tent
Shabbat Shalom!
