This week we were busy sweeping , cleaning, and preparing our hagadah for Pesach!
Painting and splotching our Seder plate
Tracing our hands to make a ring holder
We discovered the paint spread nicely when we used our hands
After tracing our hand, we cut our paper hand
The metallic paint is shiny!
It feels so smooth!
Drawing pictures in the Magid part of our hagadah
We drew the Jewish people in Egypt.
Baby Moshe in a basket floating down the Nile river.
The plagues that were sent to the Egyptians.
Hurray! We opened our hand towels that we tie dyed the other day.
We will use the towels to dry our hands at the Seder.
We made little booklets to go in our hagadah. We had fun stapling them closed.
tie-dying our hand towels
waiting so nicely
To promote teamwork, we searched for the "hidden matzah" in groups.
Decorating our wine cover that will be used during the Seder
Cleaning our classroom for Pesach
We put all the "chametz" in a box
When our kitchen area was chametz-free we wrote a sign that said "Kosher for Pesach"
We even covered our kitchen counters
Taking turns sweeping the floor
We Sorted through the food in our classroom. We put all our chametz in a box.
See you later wafers!
Bye-bye frosting!
Searching for OU P (kosher for Passover symbol)
In our sensory bin we made a pond with rocks, lily pads, frogs and snakes.
